Animals of the Rainforests

A set of learning materials for learning about the animals of the tropical and temperate rainforests. There are 42 animals featured in this learning pack.

MONTESSORI 3-PART CARDS. The Montessori-inspired approach to introducing the animals of both the tropical and rainforests. There are 42 sets, corresponding to the 42 animals featured in this packet.

A4 FACT SHEETS. A4 poster-sized information sheets about each animal. They can be used as classroom display posters or printed as fact cards (4 pages per sheet). The fact sheets provide information on the animals' group, classification, physical features, group behavior, diet, and lifestyle.

SORTING  ACTIVITIES. Contain small picture cards of each animal for sorting activities. Sort the animals according to tropical. temperate

• their classification: mammals, birds, fish, amphibians, reptiles or invertebrates
• diurnal, nocturnal, or crepuscular
• diet: herbivore, omnivore, or carnivore
